What we keep, why, and for how long.
Who we are
The service “Θα ’ρθεις;” (Thartheis) sends WhatsApp invitations on behalf of hosts and collects their guests’ answers. Operator: [name and details — to be completed]. Contact: [email — to be completed].
This website
It uses no cookies, no analytics and no outside services; all its files (fonts included) come from the same server. The access form sends nothing: it opens your own email app with the message ready, and you send it.
Hosts
For your account we keep your name, email and password (only in hashed form), the WhatsApp numbers you link and the events you create.
Co-organizers invited by a host have their own account, for which we keep the same: name, email, password (only in hashed form) and the WhatsApp numbers they link.
Guests
For each guest the host (or a co-organizer of the event) adds, we keep:
- the name;
- the mobile number, if there is one; a guest can also be listed without one, and is then not sent a WhatsApp invitation;
- their answers;
- the messages exchanged with the service on WhatsApp about that invitation;
- when the host uploads a guest list, the other columns of that file the host chose to keep (for example company or email). The file itself is not stored; only the chosen values are kept;
- their table, when the seating planner is used;
- who added them, when the event has co-organizers.
We use them only to send the invitation, record the answers and let the host organise the event’s guest list and seating. Legal basis and roles (controller/processor): [to be confirmed].
Phone contacts
When a host picks guests, their contacts are read live and never stored. Only the guests they choose are kept.
How long we keep data
Guest data is deleted 90 days after the event. Account data is kept while the account is open [to be confirmed].
Security
Encrypted server and encrypted backups, connections over https only, invite-only accounts during the pilot. Server location: [EU — to be confirmed].
Messages travel through WhatsApp, whose own privacy policy also applies. This service is not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data and object to its use. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
